Dream catchers originated in the 1850's with the woodland Indians, it's purpose is to catch both good and bad dreams, the good dreams are preserved through the middle and spread to the feathers for safe keeping. Bad dreams are caught in the webbing and can be removed by blowing sage smoke on the dream catcher. Hang over your bed, or in the window and dream peacefully.
