Navajo, Silver dream catcher earrings with a turquoise bead entwined on the web and three feathers dangling off it. Made by Navajo silversmith Les Walker of the Delaware Tribe of Oklahoma.

A dream catcher is usually placed above an infant’s cradleboard. The web of the dream catcher would filter all dreams and let only the good dreams flow through the open circle. The dream catcher was kept throughout life and its power enhanced with fetishes and personal belongings.
